These helicopters are U.S. registered and maintained under the regulations of both the FAA and the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority. Their mechanics are FAA-licensed and the helicopters are inspected and certified annually by a U.S. based inspector. Island Hoppers holds US$10,000,000 of liability insurance through Lloyds of London. Their pilots have a combined total flight experience of over 50 years.
